This is a dark blue-gray colored Damsel. It has a cream colored vertical white band in the center of the body, just past the pectoral fins. There are faint blue lateral streaks from the snout, just of the vertical band. The fins are lighter colored and edged in green or gray. It grows to a length of 9 cm. This is the most sensitive of the group to poor water quality. One of the most peaceful of the damsels, a great aquarium fish, can be housed in a peaceful community tank.
